TERMS OF USE

These terms apply when you visit cliffheroes.com or join the wishlist. In short: enjoy the site, don't attack or scrape it, don't take our artwork, and understand that Cliff Heroes is still in development — nothing here is a promise about what the game will contain or when it will be released.
Who we are
This site is run by OffStars Studios (company under formation), based in Tel Aviv, Israel. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean OffStars Studios, and "you" means anyone using the site. You can reach us at supportoffstars@gmail.com.
By using this site you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.
What this site is
cliffheroes.com is a promotional site for Cliff Heroes, a real-time PvP climbing game we are developing for mobile. Right now the site does two things: it tells you about the game, and it lets you join a wishlist so we can email you when there is news.
There is no game to play here yet, no user accounts, and nothing to buy. When Cliff Heroes is released it will come with its own terms covering the game itself, and those will govern your use of it. These terms cover the website only.
Cliff Heroes is unreleased
Everything we show or describe here — features, heroes, abilities, arenas, artwork and timing — reflects a game still in development. It can change, be delayed, or be cut entirely, and we may stop development altogether. Nothing on this site is a commitment that the game will be released, that it will include any particular feature, or that it will be available in your country or on your device.
Who may use this site
You must be at least 16 years old to join the wishlist. If you are under 16, please don't submit your email address. You may browse the rest of the site at any age, but if you are a minor you should do so with a parent or guardian's knowledge.
The wishlist
If you give us your email address, you're asking us to email you about Cliff Heroes — closed-beta builds, season drops and launch alerts. We won't use it for anything else. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, and we explain exactly what we do with your address in our Privacy Policy.
Only submit an email address that is yours. Signing other people up without their knowledge is not allowed, and we will delete addresses we believe were submitted this way.
Things you must not do
Use the site normally and none of this will ever apply to you. Specifically, please don't:
- attempt to break, overload, or disrupt the site or the systems behind it
- submit large volumes of automated or fake signups
- scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the site's content
- try to access parts of the site or our systems you were not given access to
- use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes someone else's rights
- remove or obscure any copyright or ownership notices
We may limit or block access to the site if we reasonably believe someone is doing any of the above.
Who owns what is on this site
The Cliff Heroes and OffStars Studios names and logos, and all game artwork, characters, video, text, design and code on this site, belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Using the site does not give you any ownership of it.
You're welcome to link to the site and to share our public posts and trailers as they were published — that's what they're for. What you may not do is copy, reproduce, modify or redistribute our content commercially, present it as your own, or use our names and logos in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.
Links to other places
The site links to services we don't run, such as social networks, Discord and app stores. We don't control them and we're not responsible for their content or their practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave our site.
The site is provided "as is"
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We don't promise that it will always be online, that it will be free of errors or interruptions, or that any information on it is complete or current. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.
Our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data or lost opportunity, arising from your use of this site.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects the rights you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in — those rights always take priority over anything written here.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes — and we will certainly update them when the game launches. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll say so clearly on the site. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
If part of these terms doesn't hold
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of them still stand, and the unenforceable part is treated as modified only as far as necessary to make it valid.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
